CAT GUY HAS COMPETITION LICKED

Ian Stich, one of eight finalists in the Meow Mix Think Like a Cat Game Show, won the show but not the $1-million. The win earned him $25,000, plus $2,500 for his favorite feline charity and a year’s supply of cat food. Stich of Sarasota won by anticipating the behavior of his cat, Quinn, and by answering questions, such as what is the name of the cat in the Austin Powers films (Mr. Bigglesworth). Stich plans to use the cash to pay off his student loans. The show re-airs on GSN at 9 p.m. Friday, 1 a.m. Saturday and 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Through a press release we learned that today is Kidney Disease Awareness Day. Five Guys Burgers and Fries is donating a portion of all profits from today’s sales to the American Association of Kidney Patients. A noble measure, by any standards. Please use discretion while selecting foods and choose according to your specific dietary restrictions.” Oh, the irony.
